Yes there are several from GSC.

This project was more for the School of Education. And Paula Lombardi is here who was a contributor.

I agree that if we can set up groups based on discipline, it will encourage cross-campus collaboration.
Kathy DesRoches
33:36
In the discussion areas, are the questions and discussions pushed out through email?
Deb
34:22
Hi -- we decided in the implementation team that we wanted to think bigger -- groups are by system or state, and discussions can then form by discipline. We can certainly see how this works and keep the discipline idea in mind. But that is something we discussed.
Reta Chaffee
34:35
Also, if there is funding, it might be interesting to consider designating some discussion facilitators for some of the larger groups.
Lia Horton
35:12
Given what they've said about people not using the discussions, we decided it was better to start small with few groups. So, we have 1 for everyone, 1 for CCSNH and 1 for USNH. We can always add more, but we didn't want a bunch of empty groups making the hub look like a ghost town
Deb
36:24
Right -- thanks, Lia. I have to go but will checkout the recording to see what else comes up!
Reta Chaffee
36:46
Thanks Deb for your work on this.
Julie

How does one become a member of the discussion forums? I'd like to find some collaborators for Anatomy & Physiology within USNH, but don't know how to contact them other than "cold call" emails.
Julie
39:15
Maybe I meant "group" rather than discussion forums
Lia Horton
41:51
Julie, I'm not sure anyone has one answer for that. It might vary by campus? I actually think cold calling might be a smart strategy :)
Lia Horton
42:32
As far as I know, we're not strong-arming anyone into joining, but we do want anyone interested to join
Julie
45:18
Thanks, Lia, I'll give it a shot. I love the work, just wish I could clone me to have more time :)

Can students collaborate on shared projects here?
Steve Covello

Does it matter if a SCORM tutorial happens to be branded? Should it be brand neutral?
Steve Covello
01:01:01
It has college logos
Lia Horton
01:02:11
Are you intending to let other people use/remix etc it? will the file you upload be editable? these are the kinds of questions that inform decisions, like shes talking about now
tst1003
01:02:35
I would think marketing department would have an opinion about the type of attribution/license for anything that’s branded.
Steve Covello
01:02:48
SCORM is not editable, AFAIK. It is the product of authoring - not the authoring project file itself.
Kathy DesRoches
01:04:47
What types of things would we author in this tool rather than upload from another source like pressbooks
Fran Keenan
01:04:56
The authoring is somewhat similar to Canvas?
Kathy DesRoches
01:05:21
I just tried to join!
Fran Keenan
01:05:38
I was able to join
Lia Horton
01:05:50
I apprived you, Kathy
Kathy DesRoches
01:06:06
Oh, I guess I'm a member now
Kathy DesRoches
01:06:09
thank you
Erin Ruckman
01:06:38
It does seem to function a lot like Canvas, at least with respect authoring a page.
Reta Chaffee
01:07:08
May would be the ATI, I presume.

Fran Keenan
01:11:50
just to be clear...anyone can see what's in the hub but only members can add things?
Lia Horton
01:13:18
the discussions are private to members, and the items in the collections (discipline-based) are visible to everyone
Kathy Patenaude
01:13:58
Thanks, Lia :)
Melissa Laplante

Thank you!
